Lunch & Snack Information
San Tan Montessori Private Preschool Is A Nut Free and Low Sugar School. For full details, see our Nutrition Policy.
We see lunch and snack times as an opportunity for students and teachers to enjoy time together while maintaining a peaceful eating environment and practicing their mutually respectful communication.
Our full day preschool students enjoy two snack times per day within the classroom as well as lunch. Snacks are a shared classroom experience. The teacher will provide a rotating monthly snack calendar to our families. Families bring in enough snack for the classroom on their day. The snack suggestions are provided on the calendar and align to our nutrition policy. Our Primary classroom students help to prepare and setout lunch for thier classmates as part of the Practical Life lessons.
We aim to provide a fun and healthy environment for lunch. We are not a typical school with a standard cafeteria program, instead we offer a hot lunch catering program unique to each school, please see links below to register for our school hot lunch program.
ALL NEW and RETURNING FAMILIES must re-register at the beginning of each school year if you wish to utilize the program. Once it’s setup, it can be managed month-to-month.
Once setup, you create your kiddos menu each month and make payments within the system. Meals are delivered right to the school.
Preschool Lunch ordering through Recker Campus
All hot lunches come with a meat, vegetarian, or salad option as well as 2% white milk or water at a cost of $3.75 per day.
If a child does not have a lunch, and didn’t order in the previous month, lunch will be given to your child automatically. An invoice will be emailed to you on the 1st of the following month, and additional lunches are at a cost of $5.00 per lunch. Due to our lunches being catered and specific numbers needing to be given, we do not encourage that children eat without pre-ordering.
San Tan Charter School acknowledges and understands that additional food and environmental allergies exist and affect our community members. The target of this policy is to support our students who have life-threatening responses to nuts.
